HOWARD HANNA OFFERS REAL
ESTATE SERVICES AND BENEFITS….
The
Hanna Gold Advantage Program offers a range of real estate services provided
through Howard Hanna's Relocation & Business Development Department. The program includes cash rewards when
purchasing or selling a home locally or nationwide, mortgage and closing
services and access to services provided by Howard Hanna Real Estate
Services.
Benefits available to GANNON
UNIVERSITY employees, trustees, alumni, retirees, students, and parents of
current students (referred to as Gannon University Community) include the
following items:
• Cash reward equal to 10% of the Gross Commission (5% to you, 5% to
the Gannon University Alumni Association Endowed Legacy Scholarship) when
PURCHASING A HOME. You must register with Howard Hanna Relocation & Business Development,
in advance of working with a Realtor.
• Cash reward equal to 10% of the Gross Commission (5% to you, 5% to
the Gannon University Alumni Association Endowed Legacy Scholarship) when
SELLING A HOME. You must register with Howard Hanna Relocation & Business Development,
in advance of working with a Realtor.
• A free consultation with a
Howard Hanna Mortgage Professional and a $400
credit towards closing costs on a first mortgage or refinancing when the
transaction is handled by Howard Hanna Mortgage Services and Barrister’s Land
Abstract Company or Barristers of Ohio.
• Competitive rates on a full
line of Insurance Services through Howard Hanna
Insurance Services (mortgage, auto, home, health, etc.).
ü Retail Alliance
Service Partner discounts and corporate priority services on various services (ie,
moving services, carpeting, home improvements, security systems, etc.)
HOW THE CASH
REWARD WORKS:
PURCHASING A HOME: (example)
When
you register with Howard Hanna Relocation & Business Development you will
be assigned a Sales Associate, Once you purchase your home…
If
the Sale Price of the home is $200,000 and the commission paid by the seller is
7% ($1,400.00).
You receive 5%
of the Gross Commission, or $700.00, as check from Howard Hanna to you, and
Gannon University will also receive 5% ($700.00) as a check to the Alumni
Legacy Scholarship. (checks
are mailed 7-10 days after closing).
Additionally, if your mortgage and closing is handled by Howard
Hanna Mortgage Services and Barrister’s Land Abstract Company
You receive a $400 credit toward closing costs (will show on your HUD-1 Settlement Sheet)
SELLING A HOME: (example)
When you register with Howard Hanna Relocation & Business
Development you will be assigned a Sales Associate, Once you sell your home…

ELIGIBLE
TRANSACTIONS:
The commission and closing cost discount applies to residential or
commercial properties that are purchased, leased, or sold. You must register in advance through Howard
Hanna’s Relocation & Business Development Department and use the services
of the designated Realtor. All other
discounts and services must be coordinated through Howard Hanna Real Estate
Services.
RELOCATION
SERVICES:
Howard Hanna’s Relocation & Business Development Department
offers a full range of various relocation related services to the GANNON
UNIVERSITY Community. These services
range from:
- Counseling employees
moving into the area
- Providing
information when moving nationwide
- Providing
information for employees purchasing a second home nationwide
- Area information
packages - Neighborhood tours
- School reports
and cost of living information nationwide.
REGISTRATION:
To
take advantage of the benefits, GANNON UNIVERSITY Community members must
register in advance with Howard Hanna’s Relocation & Business Development
Department.
