Partnership to Benefit Downtown Erie
In June, the University announced its newest community-based initiative, Erie-GAINS (Erie-Gannon Alliances to Improve our Neighborhood Sustainability). The program’s primary goal is to increase the sustainability and viability of downtown Erie and the neighborhoods surrounding the campus through long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships between the University and its campus neighbors. Give Back with GIVE Day
Get ready to GIVE all you’ve got at this year’s GIVE (Gannon’s Invitation to Volunteer Everywhere) Day, scheduled for Sept. 25. Gannon in the News
Read all about it! Gannon University is a newsmaker, in Erie and beyond. The editorial staff of the Erie Times-News lauded Gannon’s newest community program, Erie-GAINS. Several business and industry Web sites have posted news of the University’s newest academic offering, an actuarial science option. And one GU staff member is doing his part to make Gannon greener. Living Our Faith
As a Catholic, Diocesan university, Gannon values its strong Catholic foundation. Later this month, the Gannon community will welcome new students with several faith-based events, including Welcome Mass in the Mary, Seat of Wisdom Chapel and an ice cream social sponsored by the Chaplain's Office. Photo of the Month
More than 60 alumni and friends braved rainy weather to attend the seventh annual Alumni Picnic and Shakespeare Summer Nights performance. This year’s performance, The Taming of the Shrew, was held July 24 in the Schuster Theatre.
