Gannon in the News
Read all about it! Gannon University is a newsmaker, in Erie and beyond. The Erie Times-News had a lot to say about Gannon recently, including the University’s receipt of a prestigious Student Support Services grant. A Gannon biology professor’s research of bats made the news as well, and a local television station’s report of a University biodiesel project reached a national audience when it aired on every Nexstar Broadcasting station. Keep up with all the current Gannon news at and on Gannon’s Facebook page.

Living Our Faith
More than 230 people celebrated Opening Mass of the Holy Spirit on Sept. 9, an annual service designed to bless the University community at the beginning of a new Academic Year. This year’s Mass also included a special recognition of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Northwestern Pennsylvania and the blessing of an icon written to honor the Sisters as they celebrate 150 years of service to the Erie Diocese.
