Gannon University Ireland Excursion with Fr. Shawn Clerkin and Cathy Fresch, May 10 - 20, 2015

The Gannon University Alumni Association invites alumni, family and friends to join them on an unbelievable excursion to Ireland. Gannon’s own Fr. Shawn Clerkin, in conjunction with Brendan Vacations, has planned a very special Ireland experience. Travelers will be guided throughout the Irish countryside exploring islands, towns, Irish food, drink and song.

Yellowstone National Park
June 17- 27, 2014
The Biology Department invites interested students to register for the Annual Summer Biological Travel Study class to Yellowstone National Park. 17-27 June, 2014. This course will examine many aspects of YNP including bear and wolf management, impact of fires, geologic history including earthquakes and volcanos, geysers, and big herbivores (elk, moose, bison). A day is also spent rafting and horseback riding. There is also a day at the Museum of the Rockies studying dinosaurs, astronomy and the Lewis and Clark journey. Experience the excitement of big cities and the glorious beauty of the French and Spanish countryside. Climb the Eiffel Tower, visit The Louvre and Norte Dame Cathedral, and take a Seine River cruise. Imbibe the colors of Provence that inspired Cezanne, Van Gogh, and Matisse. Walk across Pont du Gard, a Roman bridge near Nimes. In Barcelona, soak in the Mediterranean Sea, eat Spanish tapas, and visit the wondrous Basilica Sagrada Familia. Dr. King will offer (optional) Leadership Seminar credit with the trip. Family and friends are welcome! You do not need to be a current or former GU student.
