The Gannon Women’s Basketball team will be participating in the PSAC/CIAA Challenge, November 8–9, in Elizabeth City, NC. To help prepare for the journey, they are hosting the Annual Free Throw-A-Thon Fundraiser on Wednesday, September 25, from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Gannon Hammermill Center.

You can help them get to North Carolina by sponsoring a member of the Lady Knights basketball team. It works like this…each member of the team will shoot 100 free throws and you choose your favorite player to sponsor. Your gift can be based on each made shot or simply by completing a flat donation. For example, if you decide to gift $.50 per made shot, and your player makes 80 out of 100, your gift would be $40.00.

You are also invited to join Coach Wright and the Lady Knights for this special event on Wednesday, September 25, between 11:00am-1:00pm at the Gannon Hammermill Center. They will have special drawings for prizes during the Free Throw-A-Thon for those who attend.

To become a sponsor and for more information, please contact Kelsey Key, Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach, at 814-871-5791 or by email at key005@gannon.edu. Checks can be made payable to Gannon University Women’s Basketball.
