Welcome FAMILIES to Homecoming and Family Weekend 2020! 

Family Weekend takes place during Homecoming each year at Gannon University. This year we are bringing Homecoming to YOU! Join us for our first ever Homecoming @ Home! Registration for the weekend is $10 per person. A la carte options are available free of charge. 

Your Homecoming & Family Weekend registration includes the following:

Coffee for Coffee Break Conversations
GU Pompoms
Gannon Lanyard
Gannon Cellphone Wallet
Coloring Pages, Crayons & Color Changing Straws (for children 10 and under)
10% Discount at the Bookstore 

*Additional shirts may be purchased for $10 each. Sizes will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Thursday, October 1

5 p.m. · Villa Maria Distinguished Nursing Lecture
Join Gannon University National Alumni Board Director, Julie Kleber '11 as she discusses "Lessons From the Bedside: Adaptability + Intentionality."

7:30 p.m. · President's Leadership Team Roundtable Discussion
Join University President, Dr. Keith Taylor, and his leadership team as they have an open discussion of the future of Gannon.


Friday, October 2

9 a.m. · Homecoming Kick-Off
Join University President, Dr. Keith Taylor, and Victor E. Knight as we welcome you to Homecoming @ Home 2020!

10 a.m. · Donuts with the Deans

You are invited to a special event of women in leadership. Meet Gannon's deans, learn more about them and how they got to where they are today! Grab your favorite donut and join this fun conversation. 

3 p.m. · Campus Tours
Join current students as they take you on a tour through campus.

6 p.m. · Spirituality on Tap
Join students and alumni with University Director of Campus Ministry, Brent Heckman, for a discussion of world events. 

8 p.m. · Schuster Theatre Presents: TWELFTH NIGHT
Join Schuster Theatre for this fun performance!

9 p.m. · #GannonFamily Trivia
The Activities Programming Board (APB) is hosting a LIVE night for students, families and alumni. *Win big prizes*

10 p.m. · "Meet Me at the Plymouth"
Join alumni for our Homecoming tradition at the Plymouth Tavern. Enjoy popcorn and fun giveaways!


Saturday, October 3

Noon · Town Hall with University Athletics
Join us for a virtual town hall with Director of Athletics, Lisa Goddard-McGuirk. Enjoy a fun athletics highlights video!
            

1 p.m. · Bingo for the Kiddo!
Children of families and alumni are invited to a special kid friendly game of BINGO!! There are two sessions offered. Fun prizes to be won!

Session 1: ages 5-9 
Session 2: ages 10-13

3 p.m. · Affinity Reunions
Families are invited to join their (child) student and connect with alumni from one of the affinities listed below: 

ABST/TRAVEL Reunions 
Media Rats/CommArts & Theatre 
Athletics Reunion
Campus Ministry Reunion

Interested in more than one? That's OK! You can hop between reunions; make sure you register for all you'd like to attend to receive the proper links prior to the event.

Join current students and alumni for a late night game of bingo!! Fun prizes to be won!

 

Sunday, October 4

8 a.m. · Early Morning Yoga
Join Gannon's Recreation and Wellness Center for a live-streamed session of yoga.        

TBD · Alumni & Friends Mass
Join Campus Ministry for a special Alumni & Friends Mass with Fr. Michael Kesicki '83.
